Where to stay?
Looking for accommodation during your stay at Antwerp Summer and Winter University?
Antwerp has many different accommodation options to offer. The majority of summer or winter schools hosted by Antwerp Summer and Winter University take place at the Stadscampus of the University of Antwerp, situated in the so called “University area” close to the city center. However, certain summer or winter schools are organised at campuses outside the city center, such as Campus Drie Eiken, Campus Groenenborger, or Campus Middelheim. Prior to making a reservation, please verify at which campus your specific summer or winter school takes place and check the distances.
We provide all accepted students with a list of housing options, ranging from available student rooms over youth hostels to traditional hotels, in different price categories and at different locations. All participants are free to choose their preferred accommodation. In certain summer and winter schools, accommodation is included in the package.

Getting around in Antwerp
Do as the locals do and bike everywhere! Once you're here, Velo Antwerpen, the city’s bike-sharing system, makes it easy to explore. With hundreds of docking stations, it’s a fun and sustainable way to get around. You don’t need Wi-Fi to use the bike-sharing system, simply download the app before and install a week pass and use your own passcode at the station which you can manually use to rent a bike.
